Our MULLING SPICE is a Spice Trader winter favourite, but can be enjoyed year round for great tasting mulled wine or apple cider. It can also be used with apple juice, not expensive red wine, or apple cider.
INGREDIENTS: Cinnamon Cassia Chips, Orange Peel, Allspice, Cloves, Ginger.
RECIPE: 2 Tbsp mulling spice, 1 bottle wine ( or cider), 1/2 cup fine sugar, 1/2 cup dark rum*. Combine all ingredients except the rum. Heat everything over low heat ( do not boil) for 10 - 15 minutes. Take it off the heat and strain, then add the rum.
