brodflour was founded in 2017 with one simple goal: to give people the license to enjoy bread again. Good, fresh bread doesn't exist without good, fresh flour. So, to achieve our goal we've changed the way flour is harvested, milled and baked.
At brodflour, we work with the grain, rather than against it. We place fresh at the centre of everything we do, making sure each of our products is alive and packed with nutrients-from the farm, to the mill, to your mouth.
Organic Prairie Hard Red:
Our Prairie Hard Red is grown by Harris Family Farms in Stonewall, MB.
A certified organic Farm, Andrew and Patty Harris have been growing organic grains for over 10 years.
Prairie hard red is a great all purpose high protein flour (14.5%) is great for breads, pastries, pizza dough and any other recipes that call for a hard flour.
Our organic spelt is from Peter Leahy of Merrylynd Organics Farm in Peterborough, ON
Maryland Organics has been supplying organic and GMO free grain since 1825.
Our 100% spelt is a slightly softer flour with a good protein content of 12.5% is perfect for breads, and pastries such as scones, cookies, biscotti.
Organic Whole Grain Rye
