Thyme is native to the Mediterranean region. It has been used for centuries. It is found in many blends both spice and herb. Thyme has a pungent, sweet, antiseptic flavour. Ideal for adding great depth of flavour to dishes like stews, soups and casseroles. Unlike a lot of herbs thyme is better used in cooking when dried and not fresh.  This is a pantry staple!
