These nutty SESAME SEEDS have a sweeter, richer flavour than white sesame seeds. Their flavour is found in cuisines all over the world. They are associated with Japanese food but remind me of sweet, crunchy bars we ate as children on car trips.
SUGGESTED USES:
TOASTED SESAME SEEDS make a lovely sprinkle on just about anything. Add them to salads, fish or steamed green vegetables. They are used in our blends: DUKKAH and ZA'ATAR.
RECIPE
Tataki Sauce: 1:1 rice wine vinegar/soy sauce and a thinly sliced green onion, sprinkle of SESAME SEEDS.
