Our MULLING SPICE is a Spice Trader winter favourite, but can be enjoyed year round for great tasting mulled wine or apple cider. It can also be used with apple juice, inexpensive red wine, or apple cider.
INGREDIENTS: Cinnamon Cassia Chips, Orange Peel, Lemon Peel, Allspice, Cloves, Ginger.
RECIPE: 2 Tbsp mulling spice, 1 bottle wine ( or cider), 1/2 cup fine sugar, 1/2 cup dark rum* Combine all ingredients except the rum. Heat everything over low heat (do not boil) for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and strain, then add the rum.*optional
