This is a cold pressed walnut oil from Le Domain de Maneyrol in the Dordogne region of France. They press walnuts form their own orchard in an area known for it's terroir. This oil is referred to as 'liqiud gold'.
This walnut oil is very high in Omega-3s, and only high quality walnut halves are ever used. The production process includes a slight roasting of the nuts to bring out their flavour. The result is a perfectly balanced, mellow flavoured oil, that is at once delicate and has a long walnut finish.
It is prefect for salads, and steamed vegetables. It can also be used for desserts and to drizzle on cakes.
