ERBITÈO SICILIAN EVOO*
These are some of our most popular olive oils. We have just received a new shipment and they are fresh, and green, and spicy. Each only has the juice of one type of olive and so all three are quite distinct one from the other. They are all wonderful on salad and in a dressing, but each does have its own characteristic.
The BIANCOLILLA is buttery up front with a lovely fresh green flavour mid palate and a peppery finish. This is the fresh flavour we miss in the cold, dark days of winter. It is great drizzled on any steamed vegetable or boiled potatoes. It adds those green top notes to any tomato salad.
The NOCELLARA is creamy with a nutty flavour and a green bite with peppery at the end. This is great on pizza, or for making any pasta dish. It is also good for baking and making a mayonnaise.
The CERASUOLA has a deep olivey flavour and a smooth herby note and a slight peppery finish. Great for topping a creamy root soup, or making garlic bread. This is a tasty dipping olive oil.
