Mexican Oregano

Lippia Graveolens is the botanical name of MEXICAN OREGANO, which is not really a member of the OREGANO family at all, but rather a member of the Verbena family. Grown for centuries in Northern Mexico, this herb has a pungent flavour that is similar to oregano and spearmint, but much stronger, and slightly bitter. The strong flavour makes MEXICAN OREGANO ideal for authentic tasting Mexican dishes. We use it in  our Mexican Mix which is perfect for fajitas and tacos.
