DUKKAH is a traditional Egyptian spice mix. It is often blended with roasted nuts and sprinkled on flat bread with olive oil.
Without nuts, DUKKAH makes a lovely addition to a simple oil and vinegar salad dressing. It is also delicious on fish, and you can put it in dipping olive oil as a snack.
If you want to add roasted nuts (hazelnuts or almonds) then blend 1 part crushed nuts to 1 part spice. Because our spices do not contain salt, you should add some to taste.
