Sumac is the berry from a shrub native to the Mediterranean region, North America and the Middle East. Sumac is deliciously tangy and sour with hints of lemon. Because of its flavour, it is used as a souring agent instead of citrus juice or vinegar. It is in our Za'atar and our Kabob rub.
SUGGESTED USES: Try it in salads, on hummus and with any fish or seafood.
