DILL WEED is from the same plant as DILL SEED and is the leaf of the plant. It tastes much fresher and lighter than DILL SEED, but retains the tastes of ANISE and CARAWAY. Try to add Dill to a dish at the end of cooking as it tends to lose it's flavour if over cooked.
SUGGESTED USES: DILL WEED goes well with any fish dish. It is also a great addition to potato salad, or try mixing it with crème fraiche and serve with cucumber. It is of course an essential ingredient in making dill pickels.
