Epazote is native to Central and South America. It is a green leaf that is pungent with notes of CITRUS, MINT and even TARRAGON. It is used in Mexican cuisine to flavour bean, corn and fish dishes. A special property of Epazote is that it helps avoid the gastric discomfort that sometimes occurs after eating beans.
SUGGESTED USES: Epazote can be sprinkled on dishes or used like any dried herb when cooking!
