Day 9 - Dill Weed
I come in different forms – my leafy self loves a cucumber.
I love this herb. It is very popular and used frequently with fish and seafood - and of course in pickling cucumbers. This time of year it adds a lovely fresh flavour to dips. As there is a lot of socializing and hosting , I have a simple yet wonderful dip recipe for you and yours to enjoy.
Dill Dip
Easy Entertaining
Ingredients
2 cups mayonnaise
2 cups sour cream
3 Tbsp grated white onion
3 Tbsp dried dill weed
1 Tbsp dried parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Mix everything together in a bowl. Let the flavours set overnight in the fridge.
Serve with crudités, or chips.
