Chocolate Cherry Balsamic Brownies

1 stick of butter

4 oz bittersweet chocolate

2 eggs

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup dark brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup flour

3 Tbsp Cherry Balsamic

1/2 cup cherries, pitted and halved (optional)


Preheat the oven 350º

In a dbl boiler over simmering water, melt the butter and chocolate together. Cool and add the cherry balsamic.

In a large bowl whisk eggs, add salt, sugar, and vanilla extract. Then whisk in the chocolate mixture and then fold in the flour until just combined. Add cherries , if using. Pour batter into a 8 x 8 pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until it begins to crack on top.

Cool, cut into squares and enjoy!
