EPAZOTE is native to Central and South America. It is a green leaf that is pungent with notes of CITRUS, MINT and even TARRAGON. It is used in Mexican cuisine to flavour bean, corn and fish dishes. A special property of EPAZOTE is that it helps avoid the gastric discomfort that sometimes occurs after eating beans.
