This chili is also known as chili negro. The Pasilla is the dried CHILACA chili. This chili is dark brown/black in colour with a low to medium heat. It tastes of berry with a hint of liquorice and has a very slight herby note. This is one of the TRINTY of chilis used in a molé sauce along with Ancho and Mulato.
