This is a great snack for before dinner drinks, or simply an afternoon pick me up!
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp Pasilla Chili Powder
2 tsp Ceylon Cinnamon
2 tsp Cayenne Chili
1 Egg white
2 cups cashews
2 cups almonds
Pre heat the oven to 300º.
Put parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Mix all the dry ingredients together without the nuts.
Whisk the egg white until frothy and then add the dry ingredients and the nuts - blend them together.
Spread nuts out on the baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes until nuts are slightly browned. Stir them half way through. Let them cool and serve!
They can be kept up to 2 days in an airtight container.
