PANCH PHORA is a mixture of 5 whole spices: CUMIN, BROWN MUSTARD SEED, FENNEL, FENUGREEK SEED, and NIGELLA. PANCH PHORA is often called "Bengali Five Spice". It is a very flavourful mixture without adding any heat.
This blend can be dry-roasted or cooked in oil and then added to vegetables, potatoes or meat dishes. It can also be ground and used as a powder for a great rub.
