Ingredients
750 ml of Vodka
2 Vanilla beans
Directions
Slice the vanilla beans lengthways add the 4 halves to the vodka bottle.
Let it sit in a cupboard for 7 - 12 days and gently shake it every 2 days. Taste it at 7 days and use if you like the taste. The longer you infuse it the more vanilla flavour will be evident. You may remove the beans or continue to fill the bottle with more vodka.
Cocktail recipe:
4 oz of vanilla vodka
2 oz of triple sec
1 1/2 oz of lime juice
1 1/2 oz of simple syrup
1/2 cup of pineapple juice
Ice
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add in all the ingredients. Shake. Then shake again. Divide the cocktail between 2 tall glasses filled with ice! garnish with a twist of lime.
