4 cups of cold water
1/2 cup sugar
4 Tbsp dried mint
4 cups of boiling water
1 cup lime juice – 4-6 limes
Fresh mint & fresh limes
Boil water and steep the mint in a teapot for 6 minutes. You should have a very strong tea. Pour 4 cups of the tea into a pitcher and add the sugar. Then stir to dissolve.
Juice the limes and add it to the tea, and then add the cold water. If the limeade is still warm, then place it in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Fill a glass with ice and pour in the limeade. Garnish with fresh mint and a lime wedge.
