Tandoori Chicken on the BBQ
One of my fabulous customers suggested I try making my tandoori chicken this way, and it was delicious.
Ingredients
4 Chicken legs ( bone in)
1.5 cups greek yogurt ( or any yogurt you have)
1/2 a lemon, juiced
3 Tbsp The Spice Trader Tandoori Masala
pinch of salt
4 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
1 Tbsp fresh ginger, crushed ( optional)
Directions
Mix everything together in a bowl but the chicken legs. Then coat the chicken legs and place them back in the bowl.
Cover the bowl and marinate for 4-6 hrs ( 24 hrs would be ideal - if you are that organized)
Heat the BBQ and the cook your chicken legs ( start skin down) for 25-30 (minutes or until done), turning once.
Serve with Chana Masala, and Naan or Rice.
