1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup molasses
2 Tbsp water
2 2/3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp Baking Spice
1/2 tsp ginger
Cream butter and brown sugar together. Beat molasses, egg, and water.
In another bowl blend dry ingredients; Flour, salt, baking soda, and spices. Then gradually mix it into the wet ingredients.
Divide in two parts - make either into a ball, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Pre-heat over to 350º. Roll out the dough on a floored surface and cut with cookie cutter - place on greased baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes and let cool.
