This is a wonderful way of making ice tea. You use the same amount of tea ( 1 tsp per cup) as you would with hot tea, BUT instead you put it in a pitcher, fill with cold water and let steep in the fridge overnight. Not using boiling water eliminates any bitterness, and simply extracts the amazing flavour and colour, and deliciousness of the herbs.
My favourite is hibiscus, peppermint tea. The ratio I use is 3:1 .
This also makes a great base for cocktails, or to make hibiscus lemonade ( ratio 1:1).
