RED ONION QUICK PICKLE
Great for tacos, condiment, burgers, steak, charcuterie board...
Ingredients
3/4 cup vinegar - RED WINE VINEGAR IS MY FAVOURITE
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
2-3 cups sliced onion ( med to large onion)
Instructions
Place everything but the onions in a pot and bring to a simmer, whisk until sugar and salt have dissolved.
Pour liquid over the onions in a jar and let stand for 30 minutes - place in the fridge for up to 1 month!
